Pricing & tax
Selling price calculator
Start from your cost and the margin you want, then add marketplace fees and GST to find the selling price. Add a planned discount to get the MRP to list.
How it is calculated
- Net sales needed: price ÷ (1 + GST) × (1 − margin) − price × % fees − flat fees − cost = 0.
- Selling price = (cost + flat fees) ÷ ((1 − margin) ÷ (1 + GST) − % fees).
- MRP = selling price ÷ (1 − discount).
- GST on fees is assumed to be claimed back as input credit.
