Amazon US FBA profit calculator
For Indian brands selling on Amazon.com: referral fee, FBA fulfilment fee, storage and inbound freight against your landed cost.
How it is calculated
- Net sales = selling price. Sales tax collected by the marketplace is excluded.
- Marketplace fees = selling price × (commission + payment fee) + fixed, shipping and storage fees.
- Fees are entered as the marketplace charges them.
- Returns cost = return rate × cost per return, spread across every unit sold.
- Profit = net sales − fees − product, freight, packaging, ad and return costs. Margin = profit ÷ net sales. ROI = profit ÷ product and freight cost.
- Break-even price is the selling price at which profit is exactly zero with the same fees and costs.
Before you use the numbers
Use Amazon’s revenue calculator or the fee preview for your ASIN to get the exact referral and FBA fees. The values shown when the page opens are examples, not current marketplace rates. Results are estimates for planning and are not tax or accounting advice.
